New to sailingwego? Here’s how to get going: plan your first trip, coordinate the crew, find answers, and tell us when something’s wrong.
Getting started

Sign in with a magic link
Enter your email on the sign-in page. We send you a one-time link; click it and you’re in. No password to set or remember.

Complete your profile
Pick a username and display name, add a bio and your home waters, and upload an avatar. This is the home page for your sailing life.

Add a boat
Add the boats you own, charter, or crew on: name, make and model, type, and length, so you can attach one to each trip and voyage.

Plan a trip
Open My trips and create one. Add route legs (departure, arrival, date, and distance), plot them on the shared map, invite your crew, and check the weather and tides.

Track and split the costs
Open the trip’s expense ledger, log who paid for what, and split each cost across the crew. sailingwego keeps everyone’s balance and suggests the fewest payments to settle up.

Log the voyages as you sail
Turn each leg into a voyage log with its dates, route, distance, weather, and crew. Tag the people aboard and the log lands on their profiles, and rolls up into the trip.
